Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for kindergarten students.
• Create a welcoming, engaging, and safe classroom environment for young learners.
• Assess students' individual needs and progress regularly through observation and testing.
• Encourage social, emotional, and educational development in early childhood students.
• Coordinate with other teachers and staff to enhance educational programs offered.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s academic and social development.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning styles of all students.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Incorporate multimedia and hands-on activities to boost interactive learning.
• Organize and supervise class field trips and other extracurricular activities.
• Prepare and submit reports on students’ progress and development.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
• State certification to teach kindergarten or equivalent teaching credentials.
• Minimum of two years of experience teaching in an early childhood setting.
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development and educational best practices.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students and parents.
• Ability to manage a classroom and maintain student discipline effectively.
