Job Description

The Key Accounts Manager is a pivotal role primarily responsible for fostering long-term relationships with key customers. This position requires a professional who can effectively manage and analyze these key client relationships, maximizing profitability and satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic long-term relationships with key accounts.
  • Understand customer needs to provide bespoke solutions and drive satisfaction.
  • Monitor account performance metrics and report on customer engagement levels.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to align on necessary service provisions.
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts to enhance revenue streams.
  • Lead contract negotiation efforts to secure beneficial long-term agreements.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to evaluate service delivery and expectations.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Train client staff on product features and best practice usage techniques.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the company and its key accounts.
  • Analyze market and competition data to tailor strategies specific to client needs.
  • Resolve any issues promptly in a way that furthers client trust and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or sales roles.
  • Proven track record in managing complex accounts and achieving growth targets.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written are required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and with diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical skills to derive actionable insights from various data sets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite are essential.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with a business-focused demeanor.
