Job Description

The Key Account Manager – Middle East is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients in the region to drive sales and achieve business objectives. This role involves understanding the unique needs of each client and ensuring they receive the highest levels of service and support. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers in the Middle East, collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions and strategic plans. Additionally, the Key Account Manager will work to identify new opportunities, exploit market trends, and act as an advocate for the client within the organization. A deep understanding of cultural nuances and the business landscape in the Middle East is essential for this role, ensuring that client relationships are nurtured and expectations are not only met but exceeded.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop opportunities for account growth and new client engagement.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the company and key clients in the Middle East.
  • Conduct market research to identify client needs and competitive landscape dynamics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
  • Analyze client data to develop and optimize strategic account plans.
  • Negotiate contract terms and close agreements to maximize profit and satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed reports and presentations for key stakeholders.
  • Monitor and ensure timely delivery of products and solutions to clients.
  • Provide proactive and reactive customer support, addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Track and report on account metrics and profitability to upper management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to inform strategy and decision-making processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in key account management within the region.
  • Strong understanding of the Middle Eastern business culture and practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Ability to travel throughout the Middle East region as required for client meetings.
