Key Account Manager (KSA)-Knauf Exterior Systems (Aquapanel)

We are now looking for another team mate to join us in KSA as Key Accounts Manager.

This role will provide technical expertise to build long-term relationships and grow business for Knauf Exterior Systems by securing specifications and contracts on target projects. Create compliant designs/specifications for architects and contractors, support brand presence with Marketing, monitor construction to resolve on-site issues, and negotiate technical terms when needed. Represent Knauf with professional bodies, train the sales team, share market insights with loyal customers, and research ancillary products to strengthen the overall system offering.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide technical expertise and advice to new and existing customer bases to develop a close long-term relationship that ensures they continue/increase levels of business with KNAUF Exterior Systems.
  • Identify and contact potential customers engaged on target construction projects to secure specifications and contracts.
  • Produce designs, specifications and details for architects, designers and contractors to ensure that KNAUF Exterior Systems are specified.
  • If required, maintain a close contact with Knauf Marketing Department to ensure that a strong brand presence is continued within target market.
  • If requested, monitoring of on-site construction in collaboration with the contractor to provide advice and solutions to problems encountered.
  • If requested, negotiate project technical terms with sub-contractors.
  • Provide solutions to design problems to the customer base that fully comply with accepted standards and Industry codes of practice.
  • Provide representation and advice to professional bodies to further enhance Knauf’s profile and influence industry issues to Knauf’s benefit.
  • If necessary, provide technical assistance and training to the sales team to help them with customers and projects.
  • Provide market knowledge to loyal customers to increase their business and, thus, enhance our own business.
  • Research markets for ancillary products and make recommendations to support/ complete the KNAUF Exterior System (e.g. metal trims etc.)

What We’d Love For You To Have

We are interested in you as a person: your attitude, behaviors and values. As long as you have the willingness to learn anything you need for the role that you dont already have, wed love to speak to you. If you have experience in the following areas – this is an added advantage:

  • Technical education with construction related degree, ideally as Engineer or Architect.
  • Minimum 3-5 years working experiences and in-depth knowledge of the construction industry in sales or specification business.
  • Facade experience is essential.
  • Business recognition / Market awareness.
  • Sales experience enjoys dealing with people and a commercial aptitude.
  • Effective communication skills, with a strong proficiency in English - written and verbal.
  • Arabic speaking is essential.
  • Valid KSA driving license is essential.
