Overview of the Role
This is an opportunity to join the launch and growth of a global heavy-duty truck brand in the United Arab Emirates. Recognized as one of the world's strongest truck manufacturers by sales volume, the brand is entering an exciting growth phase, offering ambitious sales professionals the opportunity to make a significant impact from the beginning.
We are looking for a Key Account Manager with proven experience selling heavy-duty trucks in the United Arab Emirates market. This is not a general automotive sales role. Success in this position requires a deep understanding of commercial vehicles, fleet customers, transport operators, and the competitive landscape of the heavy-duty truck industry.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in building the customer base, growing market share, and establishing the brand as a leading choice for fleet and transport customers across the United Arab Emirates.
What You Will Do
- Identify, develop, and win new business opportunities within the heavy-duty truck sector.
- Build strong relationships with fleet operators, logistics companies, transportation businesses, contractors, and key commercial customers.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through active prospecting and customer engagement.
- Conduct regular customer visits to understand business requirements and identify sales opportunities.
- Present vehicle solutions, coordinate demonstrations, and support customer test drives.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through quotation, negotiation, order placement, delivery, and payment collection.
- Protect profitability while delivering competitive commercial solutions.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales forecasts, and pipeline updates within the Customer Relationship Management system.
- Support collections activities and follow up on outstanding payments when required.
- Gather market intelligence and competitor information to support business growth strategies.

- Strong heavy-duty truck sales experience within the United Arab Emirates market.
- Excellent business development and key account management capabilities.
- Strong understanding of commercial vehicle sales processes and fleet customer requirements.
- Proven ability to generate new business and achieve sales targets.

- Commercially focused with the ability to balance customer needs and profitability.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer opportunities simultaneously.
About The Team
You will join Al-Futtaim Industrial Equipment and Commercial Vehicles, working as part of the Commercial Vehicles Sales team and reporting directly to the Sales Manager – Commercial Vehicles.
The team is responsible for growing the truck business, establishing a new brand presence in the market, and delivering a best-in-class customer experience through both sales and aftersales support. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major growth journey within one of the region's leading automotive and equipment businesses.
What Equips You for the Role
- Proven experience selling heavy-duty trucks in the United Arab Emirates.
- Experience within a commercial vehicle dealership environment is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of heavy-duty trucks, fleet operations, transport businesses, and the United Arab Emirates truck market.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience managing fleet customers, transport companies, logistics operators, and contractors.
- Valid United Arab Emirates driving license.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
