Job Description

The Key Account Manager plays a crucial role in sustaining and enhancing a company's key business relationships. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for nurturing strong relationships with essential clients and ensuring their needs and expectations are met efficiently. Your strategic mindset and in-depth understanding of the client's business objectives will allow you to identify new business opportunities, increase sales, and solidify long-term partnerships. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent negotiation skills, capable of managing multiple priorities while delivering exceptional service. Your ability to collaborate across departments to align solutions with client needs will be vital to achieving success in this role.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic long-term trusting relationships with key clients.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of company solutions according to client needs.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify and grow opportunities within territory.
  • Compile and analyze data to identify trends and forecast revenue with key accounts.
  • Prepare regular reports on account status, sales forecasts, and client feedback.
  • Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal team members.
  • Develop new business with existing clients and identify areas of improvement to meet sales targets.
  • Liaise with cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, clients' businesses, and technology advancements.
  • Attend trade shows or industry conferences to maintain competitive awareness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field.
  • Proven work experience as a Key Account Manager or similar role.
  • Strong account management skills including negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders.
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
