Job Description

The Key Account Manager (KAM) is a pivotal role within our sales team, charged with maintaining and growing relationships with strategically important clients. The KAM works to ensure that client needs are met, often serving as the face of the company, and facilitating communication between the client and internal teams. This position requires a deep understanding of the client's business, market trends, and the company's product or service offerings. The Key Account Manager will also be responsible for identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts, making sure that all accounts are profitable, and achieving revenue growth through targeted sales strategies. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to handle complex client relationships in a dynamic environment.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with strategic accounts.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit and client satisfaction.
  • Identify new business opportunities with existing clients to drive account growth.
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client requirements.
  • Work closely with internal teams to manage customer expectations and deliver on promises.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on account status and performance to management.
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory.
  • Handle client issues and complaints with direct and constructive solutions.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the company's products and services to provide expert advice.
  • Participate in strategic planning to enhance account management processes and practices.
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote our brand and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales or account management experience in relevant industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing client accounts and growing revenues.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales performance metrics.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
