Key Account Executive

What Will Your Day Look Like?
The Key Account Executive is responsible for achieving assigned sales targets at the store level and ensuring excellent execution of Agthia's sales and merchandising strategies. The role focuses on maximizing brand presence, visibility, and availability across assigned outlets by identifying growth opportunities at the point of sale and negotiating with store management to secure optimal product placement and promotional execution. The KAE also coordinates with merchandisers, supports order preparation, monitors in-store performance, and ensures compliance with Agthia's execution standards to drive sales growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
How Will You Make an Impact?
- Achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs at the store level while driving Agthia's business growth.
- Ensure distribution of the Must Stock List (MSL), maximize product availability, and prevent out-of-stock situations.
- Maintain and update distribution reports, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions where required.
- Execute National Key Account agreements and ensure compliance at the store level.
- Implement business priorities, promotional activities, new product launches (NPD), pricing updates, and BDA agreements.
- Drive excellent primary and secondary visibility, negotiate in-store activations, and support trade spend execution.
- Prepare and process FOC/DME approval requests, track area expenses, and coordinate with Trade Marketing and Customer Service teams.
- Identify sales and growth opportunities within assigned stores and align action plans with the Key Account Manager/Supervisor.
- Support merchandisers with order preparation, execution standards, and in-store activities.
- Attend weekly review meetings with the Key Account Supervisor, identify issues and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor share of shelf, distribution, sales performance, and market share within assigned accounts.
- Support talent identification and development of merchandisers to strengthen team performance.
- Assist with receivables collection activities when required to support DSO targets and ensure compliance with company credit policies.
What Would Make You Successful?
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or any related discipline.
Experience
- 3-4 years of sales experience, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Experience in Key Accounts, Modern Trade, or Sales Executive roles within the GCC market is preferred.
- Exposure to in-store execution, merchandising, and customer relationship management.
Functional Knowledge
- Good understanding of the GCC retail and Key Account landscape.
- Experience working with store managers and customers, with the ability to negotiate and influence effectively.
- Knowledge of sales operations, distribution management, and merchandising principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong commitment to learning, development, and career growth within Agthia.
