Job Description

A Key Account Executive plays a pivotal role in maintaining and nurturing relationships with an organization’s vital clients. The position is essential for the company's growth as the Key Account Executive serves as the primary liaison between the company and its most significant accounts. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic long-term trusting relationships with key clients.
  • Act as the main point of contact between key clients and internal teams.
  • Identify and approach new potential strategic clients and partnerships.
  • Understand the critical account needs and develop customized solutions.
  • Resolve any key client issues and complaints promptly and efficiently.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets set for key accounts management.
  • Provide regular reports on the status of key accounts and transactions.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency.
  • Monitor and manage internal resources needed to maintain and enhance service delivery.
  • Prepare and present forecasts and progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the industry trends to provide tailored advice.
  • Host regular meetings with clients to maintain client satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is essential.
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Executive or similar role is required.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and customer relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude are required.
  • Available to travel as needed to meet with key clients.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite is advantageous.
