As a Junior Travel Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our dynamic travel management team, facilitating seamless travel arrangements while providing exceptional service to our clients and internal teams. In this role, you will manage the logistical elements of corporate and leisure travel, ensuring cost-effective and efficient solutions are in place. A successful candidate will possess a keen attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve working closely with travel vendors, airlines, and internal resources to arrange transportation, accommodation, and comprehensive itineraries tailored to client needs. Responsibilities

  • Work effectively with clients to understand their travel needs and preferences.
  • Utilize travel booking systems to secure reservations and travel accommodations.
  • Coordinate transportation, lodging, and activities for both individual and group travel.
  • Monitor travel schedules and make adjustments to ensure smooth arrangements.
  • Communicate promptly with stakeholders regarding travel itineraries and changes.
  • Negotiate competitive rates and favorable terms with travel service providers.
  • Ensure all travel documentation, such as tickets and visas, is accurate and available.
  • Resolve travel-related issues and emergencies promptly and efficiently.
  • Prepare detailed travel itineraries with all necessary travel information included.
  • Maintain current knowledge of travel industry trends and regulatory changes.
  • Assist in the preparation of travel budgets and provide expenditure reports.
  • Support senior travel coordinators in various travel management tasks and projects.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism, or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in a travel-related role or customer service is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and travel booking systems required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage simultaneous projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, mandatory.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including potential travel during peak seasons.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
