About The Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Sous Chef to join in Mi Amie in Jumeirah Emirates Towers.

The Main Duties And Responsibilities Of This Role Include:

  • Ensure guest satisfaction by providing efficient, friendly, and attentive service that exceeds expectations.
  • Oversee and actively participate in delivering excellent service to guests, ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures.
  • Supervise kitchen section(s) to ensure tasks are completed according to standards, including stock management, portion control, food quality, and cleanliness.
  • Implement measures to minimize waste and control operating costs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Evaluate food products for consistency and quality, maintaining high standards in food preparation.
  • Monitor team members grooming, hygiene, and compliance with safety regulations and SOPs, providing coaching and guidance as needed.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Possess culinary art training at a reputable establishment – minimum 6 months.
  • Have 3-5 years within the same role and position in a luxury resort or high-end restaurant.
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills.
  • Hold strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Possess Previous HACCP training.
