Job Description

As a Junior Salesman in Freight Forwarding, you will play a crucial role in strengthening our business footprint by generating leads and driving sales. Your primary focus will be on understanding and promoting our freight forwarding services, developing client relationships, and closing sales opportunities. You'll join a dynamic team where you'll work closely with senior sales professionals to identify prospects and tailor solutions to meet customer needs. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients to expand sales opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of freight forwarding service presentations.

  • Provide customers with accurate and timely information about our services and pricing.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
  • Conduct market research to gather industry insights and competitive analysis.
  • Support senior sales staff in preparing sales contracts, proposals, and reports.
  • Participate in meetings, conferences, and trade shows to promote our services.
  • Handle customer inquiries and ensure resolution in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain customer databases and manage sales pipeline documentation effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all sales activities.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve sales processes and customer interactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build client relationships.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and grow customer base.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand market trends and customer needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Previous experience in sales or logistics is a plus but not required.
