Responsibilities

  • Prepare quotes and proposals tailored to customers' freight forwarding needs.
  • Liaise with operational departments to ensure client requirements are met efficiently.
  • Communicate updates and shipment statuses to clients effectively and promptly.
  • Participate in sales training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM systems.
  • Assist in analyzing market trends to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer needs and competitive activity.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to help drive promotional campaigns.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to network and grow potential sales prospects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required for this position.
  • Basic understanding of the freight forwarding industry is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a sales team.
  • Persistence and resilience to handle rejection and continue pursuing leads.
