About the Role

Are you ready to build your commercial career in a specialised market where animal biosecurity, food safety and hygiene make a real difference?

We are looking for a Junior Sales Representative – Animal Biosecurity & Food & Beverage (Middle East) to support the growth of LANXESS’ Material Protection Products business across the Middle East. You will focus on developing new business, strengthening customer and distributor relationships, and expanding our presence across animal biosecurity and Food & Beverage applications.

The portfolio includes speciality biocides, disinfectants, hygiene solutions and preservation technologies used across animal production, poultry, dairy, livestock, food processing, beverage manufacturing and related industrial hygiene markets.

This is a commercially focused role for someone who enjoys being close to customers, spotting opportunities and developing business across different markets and cultures. You will work with customers, distributors, and internal technical, regulatory, and marketing colleagues while building your knowledge of the region and our applications.

The position is based in Dubai and covers the wider Middle East region.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Develop new business across the Middle East, identifying opportunities in animal biosecurity, poultry, livestock, dairy, food processing, beverage production and related markets.
• Build and strengthen relationships with customers, regional producers, multinational companies, distributors, consultants and other industry partners.
• Support and develop the regional distributor network, identifying opportunities to improve market coverage and penetration.
• Help develop country and customer growth plans and maintain a healthy pipeline of commercial opportunities.
• Act as a commercial contact for customers and distributors, helping them identify solutions for their application needs.
• Support existing customers through technical selling, product qualification, pricing discussions and commercial negotiations.
• Work closely with technical experts to support customer evaluations and deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Collaborate with regulatory, marketing and technical colleagues on product registrations, approvals and market-access activities.
• Monitor customer needs, market trends, competitors and regulatory developments, and turn those insights into commercial opportunities.
• Maintain sales forecasts, opportunities, customer visit reports and relevant market intelligence through CRM and IBP processes.
• Represent LANXESS at relevant exhibitions, conferences, trade associations and technical seminars.
• Support new product introductions and take commercial projects from initial opportunity through to commercialisation.
• Travel regularly across the Middle East to meet customers, distributors and other business partners. 

We are looking for someone early in their commercial career who combines business drive with an interest in technical products and customer applications.

Ideally, you have:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Veterinary Science, Animal Science, Chemical Engineering or another relevant discipline.
• Relevant B2B sales or business development experience. Because this is a junior position, we can consider profiles with approximately 1–2 years of experience, provided they have strong sector exposure or directly transferable experience.
• Commercial exposure to at least one relevant area, such as animal biosecurity, animal health, poultry, livestock, dairy, veterinary hygiene, food processing, beverage production, food safety, sanitation, hygiene/disinfection or related technical solutions.
• Experience working with relevant B2B customers, such as poultry integrators, dairy producers, livestock operations, food processors, distributors, veterinary professionals, or hygiene/quality teams, is highly relevant.
• Experience managing distributors, regional accounts, prospecting, or new-business development is an advantage.
• An understanding of disinfectants, hygiene solutions, speciality chemicals or related application technologies.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and commercial skills, with the ability to work independently while collaborating across an international organisation.
• Fluent English and Arabic for professional customer interaction.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout the Middle East.

Important eligibility requirement:

Candidates must already be living in Dubai and have the legal right to live and work in the UAE without requiring a new visa or work-permit sponsorship for this application.
