We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Media Buyer to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the execution of media buying strategies designed to maximize brand visibility and engagement. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals with a passion for marketing and advertising, and who have a keen interest in learning about media buying across various platforms. You will work closely with senior media buyers and digital marketing managers to ensure the smooth facilitation of advertising campaigns. The Junior Media Buyer should have analytical skills, be comfortable with data-driven decision-making, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and executing effective media buying strategies across multiple channels.
  • Work closely with senior media buyers to analyze and optimize campaign performance.
  • Manage relationships with media vendors to negotiate competitive rates and placements.
  • Track and report advertising spend and ensure it stays within the allocated budget.
  • Help create media plans and schedules to align with campaign objectives.
  • Participate in performance reviews of media campaigns to determine next steps.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in media buying.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports to assess the effectiveness of media campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to ensure ad content is aligned with objectives.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of media buying activities and results.
  • Provide support in the launch and management of social media advertising campaigns.
  • Engage in continuous learning and development to enhance media buying capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of media buying principles and marketing concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for vendor negotiations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented business environment.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop skills in media buying and strategy.
