Junior Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Junior Lab Technician for our Food and Nutrition Laboratory.

The primary focus of this role will be to support food application trials by preparing samples, managing ingredient and consumable stocks, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring smooth day-to-day lab operations.

The role is critical in enabling timely customer sampling, accurate trials, and a well-organized, compliant application lab.

The Position Is Responsible For

• Supporting food application trials by preparing samples, weighing ingredients, and assisting in the laboratory during lab work.
• Conducting multiple application trials and measuring the outcome of the trials.
• Manage lab ingredients and consumables, including stock control, ordering, labeling, and expiry tracking to ensure continuous availability.
• Prepare, pack, and dispatch customer samples while maintaining proper documentation and traceability via Salesforce.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and facilities by ensuring cleanliness, routine checks, and readiness for safe operation.
• Compliance to IMCD procedures as per application lab safety standards and protocols
• Ensure all applicable clauses from the ISO Standards are applied and maintained
  
  

• Hands-on experience in Food application labs, R&D labs, or pilot plants is preferable.
• Understanding of food safety and laboratory practices
• Experience in preparation of food & beverage prototypes
• Understanding of typical recipes, processing in food manufacturing and food ingredients.
• Experience in working with processing and analytical lab equipment
