As a Junior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our project development team, assisting with the preparation of cost estimates for construction projects and related services. Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates and project budgets for construction projects.
• Collaborate with senior estimators to analyze project specifications and client requirements.
• Research and gather data on costs of materials, labor, and equipment necessary for projects.
• Maintain and update a database of cost metrics and historical data for future reference.
• Support the preparation of tender documents and bid proposals in a timely manner.
• Conduct site visits to obtain necessary data for accurate project estimation.
• Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to gather information on pricing and availability.
• Participate in the review and analysis of returned bids and quotes from suppliers and contractors.
• Assist in the identification of potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering strategies.
• Prepare and present reports on estimation findings to project managers and stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with the project team to ensure smooth project progression.
• Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and local regulations affecting estimating processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience or internship in construction or estimation is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills for accurate data interpretation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Project Management tools.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and external contacts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to visit project sites and engage in fieldwork as needed.
