About Wynn Al Marjan Island:

Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is looking for a skilled Buyer to join our Retail team.

Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Research, identify and source premium and luxury products across multiple categories suitable for a 5-star resort clientele.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, margins, and exclusivity agreements to maximize profitability
• Ensure all goods are priced appropriately for the luxury resort market. Monitor sell-through rates, manage markdowns, and protect gross margins across all store categories.
• Ensure fast-moving items are replenished promptly, and slow movers are addressed proactively.
• Collaborate with store operations to develop planograms, fixture allocations and visual merchandising standards for each retail location.
• Coordinate the vendor registration process
• Stay ahead of consumer trends, conduct competitive analysis to keep the product offering fresh, relevant and aligned with guest preferences.
• Generate regular sales performance reports, category analysis and buying recommendations for management review.
• Work closely with Retail Operations, Loss Prevention, Warehouse and Marketing teams to ensure seamless product flow from purchase order to sales floor.
• Conduct regular store visits to assess product presentation, identify gaps and gather feedback from the store team on product performance and guest preferences.
  
  

About You

• Bachelor's degree in business, Retail Management, Fashion Merchandising or a related field
• Minimum 4–6 years of buying/procurement experience in retail, preferably within luxury hospitality, resort retail, or premium lifestyle brands
• Strong negotiation, vendor management and financial planning skills
• Experience with OTB management, category planning and inventory optimization
• Knowledge of and willingness to adapt to AI tools and emerging retail technologies to improve productivity, reporting and buying processes
• Knowledge of the UAE/GCC market and consumer preferences is a strong advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
