Junior Bi developer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our team. As a Junior BI Developer, you will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights through interactive dashboards and reports. Additionally, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver data-driven solutions that support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and understand reporting needs.
• Transform, clean, and model data from various sources using Power Query, DAX, SQL, and other ETL tools.
• Build robust data models using best practices (star schema, incremental refresh, relationships, etc.).
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting data validation and quality checks.
• Optimize and maintain existing reports and dashboards for performance, usability, and scalability.
• Apply UI/UX design principles to create intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly dashboards.
• Create documentation for developed solutions and provide training to end-users.
• Stay updated with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and BI industry best practices to enhance reporting capabilities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Power BI Developer.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300).
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries, optimizing performance, and working with relational databases.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

To excel at this role:

• Experience with Azure, SQL Server, or other data warehousing solutions.
• Knowledge of Dynamics 365 and Salesforce CRM.
• Experience in real estate, finance, retail, or hospitality.
