JUNIOR AREA SALES MANAGER - EXPORT MARKETS NORTH AFRICA
The Junior Area Sales Manager role offers hands-on market exposure and growth across North Africa.
Responsibilities
As our Junior Area Sales Manager – Export, North Africa, you are responsible for sales execution, distributor support, and market coordination for luxury Coty brand portfolios.
In this role, you will support the implementation of Coty’s commercial strategy across Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, and Libya. Working closely with senior sales leadership and distributor partners, you’ll ensure strong in-store execution, effective promotional activities, and support the day-to-day sales operations to drive brand growth and visibility in export markets.
Your main focus:
Sales & Commercial Execution
Assist in implementing sales strategies, pricing structures, and trade terms tailored to each market.
Monitor monthly and quarterly sales performance and highlight risks and opportunities.
Ensure alignment with Coty’s commercial objectives and guidelines in all distributor activities.
Support preparation and follow-up of Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (MBRs & QBRs).
Distributor Management & Market Support
Serve as the day-to-day contact for distributor partners, supporting them on execution and reporting.
Coordinate with distributors on order planning, shipment tracking, and stock availability.
Help manage trade spend, tracking effectiveness and ROI of promotional investments.
Participate in regular performance review meetings with partners and share feedback with internal teams.
Channel & In-Store Execution
Ensure excellence in in-store execution across multiple channels (perfumery, department stores, lower trade, e-commerce).
Monitor POS visibility, merchandising standards, and promotion compliance through distributor feedback or market visits.
Support new product launches and ensure proper sell-in/sell-out coordination.
Collaborate with Trade Marketing to localize toolkits and support retail activation initiatives.
Forecasting & Stock Management
Contribute to monthly sales forecasts and ensure timely submission of distributor demand plans.
Monitor sell-in/sell-out performance to optimize stock levels and avoid over/under-stocking.
Liaise with the Supply Chain team to ensure order accuracy and on-time deliveries.
Track slow-moving or obsolete inventory and propose action plans.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with Trade Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to support seamless execution.
Prepare sales and financial performance reports using tools such as Excel, Oracle, or internal dashboards.
Assist in planning market visits and preparing post-visit reports and actions.
Contribute to business cases and projects that enhance commercial efficiency or market performance.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT
You are eager to build a career in commercial roles and passionate about beauty and brand execution. As an aspiring sales leader, you are organized, data-savvy, and thrive in multicultural, fast-paced environments. In addition:
Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in sales or trade marketing within the luxury beauty sector.
Strong knowledge of the North African market, including culture, business environment, and customer behavior.
Proven experience managing multiple distributors across various channels (upper trade, lower trade, wholesale, e-commerce).
Excellent strategic thinking and sales planning skills with the ability to adapt based on market feedback.
Fluency in Arabic, French, and English, with willingness to travel regularly across the North African region.
