Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system
• Assist in preparing journal entries, accruals, and prepayments
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records
• Perform regular bank, customer, and vendor reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare basic financial reports and schedules for management review
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records
• Coordinate with internal departments for invoice verification and approvals
• Assist during internal and external audits by providing required documents
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and VAT requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)
• Sound understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
• Hands-on experience with Zoho ERP and/or QuickBooks
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred (Optional)

• Part-qualified ACCA / CA / CMA
• Basic knowledge of UAE VAT accounting and compliance
