junior accountant and auditor

We are looking for a detail oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to our growing Finance team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in handling large transaction volumes and deliver accurate and timely financial reports in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and process daily sales, purchases, payments and expenses with high accuracy.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely reconciliations and vendor/customer follow-ups.
• Assist in preparing monthly/ quarterly / annual financial statements.
• Support VAT filings and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare reports for management.
• Work closely with auditors and support annual audit processes.
• Understanding of retail and warehouse inventory controls.
• Suggest and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance preferred.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of local tax/VAT regulations and corporate tax awareness.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (Odoo or similar platform).
• Good Excel and reporting skills.
• Ability to work as a team and meet deadlines.
• Nice to Have
• Experience in preferably in Retail / FMCG or handling audit in Ecommerce platforms.
• Hands on experience with stock audits, inventory reconciliation and stock taking processes.
