STRATEGIC

  • Support the implementation of the Quality Control strategy and departmental quality objectives.
  • Promote quality awareness and adherence to established quality procedures across manufacturing operations.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with international quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing defects, rework, and customer complaints.
  • Participate in quality improvement projects to enhance product consistency and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Assist in monitoring process performance and identifying opportunities for quality enhancement.
  • Support supplier quality initiatives by assisting in incoming material inspections and reporting quality concerns.
  • Contribute to maintaining audit readiness for ISO certifications and customer audits.
  • Stay updated with quality standards, manufacturing processes, and fire-safety requirements relevant to ACP products.
  • Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, and R&D teams to ensure quality requirements are effectively implemented.

OPERATIONAL

  • Perform inspection of incoming raw materials including aluminum coils, paints, coatings, adhesives, core materials, films, and packaging materials.
  • Monitor coil coating, painting, curing, lamination, bonding, cutting, finishing, and packaging processes to ensure compliance with approved specifications.
  • Conduct routine in-process inspections and final product inspections in accordance with approved quality plans.
  • Perform dimensional checks, visual inspections, coating thickness measurements, adhesion tests, gloss measurements, color verification, and other quality tests.
  • Record inspection results accurately and maintain quality records.
  • Identify product defects, process deviations, and non-conformities during production.
  • Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and support corrective and preventive action implementation.
  • Assist in investigating production defects and customer complaints using basic root cause analysis techniques.
  • Coordinate laboratory testing activities related to coating performance, adhesion, flexibility, colour consistency, corrosion resistance, weathering, and fire performance.
  • Ensure inspection and testing equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Verify compliance of finished products with customer-approved samples and manufacturing specifications.
  • Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), customer inspections, consultant visits, and product qualification activities.
  • Ensure material and product traceability throughout manufacturing.
  • Assist in product release verification prior to dispatch.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports for management review.
  • Support implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 procedures, work instructions, and documented quality processes.
  • Participate in internal quality audits.
  • Support external audits conducted by customers, consultants, and certification bodies.
  • Maintain quality documentation including inspection reports, test records, quality manuals, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Assist in closing audit findings within agreed timelines.
  • Support awareness programs related to quality standards and ISO requirements.
  • Ensure proper document control practices are followed.

PRODUCT/PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve manufacturing efficiency.
  • Assist in analyzing production quality trends and defect data.
  • Support root cause investigations using methodologies such as 5 Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, CAPA, and basic 8D techniques.
  • Work with Production and Engineering teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Support qualification of new raw materials and suppliers.
  • Assist in product validation and quality trials for new products and process improvements.
  • Recommend improvements to inspection methods and quality control procedures.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

  • Coordinate effectively with Quality Inspectors and QC Technicians during inspection activities.
  • Support Senior Engineers in executing daily quality control operations.
  • Share technical knowledge and best practices with team members whenever required.
  • Participate in technical training and competency development programs.
  • Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and operational procedures.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 2–5 years of Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience in manufacturing industries.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in ACP manufacturing, aluminum processing, coating, paint manufacturing, composite panel manufacturing, metal industry, or related industrial environments.
  • Exposure to incoming material inspection, in-process inspection, and final product quality inspection.
  • Basic experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and quality documentation.
  • Familiarity with laboratory testing, quality records, and inspection reporting.
  • Exposure to handling NCRs, corrective actions, and customer quality requirements is preferred.
  • Fresh graduates with relevant internships or industrial training in ACP or metal manufacturing may also be considered for junior positions.
  • UAE Driving License will be an added advantage.
  • ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Training (preferred).
  • Basic Quality Management Systems Training.
  • Root Cause Analysis or Problem-Solving Training.
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Yellow Belt (preferred).
  • Fire Safety or Product Testing Awareness (preferred).
  • Basic understanding of Aluminium Composite Panel (ACP) manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of coil coating, painting, lamination, bonding, and finishing operations.
  • Understanding of quality inspection methods and testing procedures.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • Familiarity with quality control instruments and laboratory testing equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of NCR, CAPA, and root cause analysis concepts.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, technical specifications, and inspection standards.
