Joinery Foreman

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Joinery Foreman to lead our dedicated team of carpenters and ensure the successful completion of joinery projects. As a Joinery Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction, from planning and execution to ensuring safety and quality standards. You must possess excellent leadership skills and have a thorough understanding of woodworking techniques and building codes. Your role will involve coordinating with project managers, architects, and other trades to deliver projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure projects adhere to established timelines.
• Ensure all carpentry and joinery work complies with safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders for project planning.
• Manage and allocate tasks to a team of skilled carpenters and apprentices.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure tasks meet quality and safety standards.
• Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their skills.
• Maintain records of time, materials, and labor costs accurately for accounting purposes.
• Resolve any onsite issues related to discrepancies in design or materials.
• Ensure that tools and materials are used efficiently and effectively.
• Forecast future labor and material requirements based on project timelines.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and gather feedback.
• Implement improvements to enhance safety and efficiency on construction sites.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Joinery Foreman or similar role in carpentry.
• In-depth understanding of woodworking techniques and building codes.
• Strong leadership and project management skills to oversee teams effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to address project challenges promptly.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
