Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Develop and maintain efficient and reliable Java code, implementing software enhancements and resolving defects as needed.
• Perform thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and reliability.
• Identify areas for optimization and improvement in existing applications, proposing and implementing solutions.
• Integrate Java applications with external APIs and third-party services when required.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues, providing timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend components.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Java development.
• Contribute to the documentation of software architecture, design, and development processes.

•     Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
•     Proven experience (X+ years) as a Java Developer or in a similar role.
•     Strong proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
•     Experience with web application development using technologies like Servlets, JSP, and RESTful APIs.
•     Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their integration with Java backend.
•     Knowledge of database design and SQL queries for relational databases.
•     Solid understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, version control, and testing methodologies.
•     Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.
•     Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards technical challenges.
•     Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
•     Proficiency in using development tools such as IDEs, build tools, and debugging utilities.
•     Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
•     Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
