Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code.
• Develop and maintain complex backend architectures for scalable web applications.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Implement security and data protection measures to ensure application integrity.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.
• Work within an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Liaise with product managers to understand requirements and provide technical insights.
• Continuously research and implement new technologies to enhance application performance.
• Prepare and produce releases of software components, ensuring timely delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Java Backend Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot, Hibernate, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture patterns.
• Excellent understanding of version control systems such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with teams.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, is advantageous.
