Job Description

As an IT Technical Support Associate, you'll become an integral asset in ensuring the stability and efficiency of the IT infrastructure in our organization. Your primary role involves addressing and resolving technical issues, enabling smooth, ongoing operations for all end-users. This position requires a deep understanding of various technical systems, outstanding problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to translate technical language into accessible information for all users. You will be responsible for setting up and supporting hardware and software systems, which includes diagnosing problems quickly and with precision to minimize downtime. Your role also involves collaborating with other IT professionals to enhance the overall user experience and maintain regular updates on IT policies and technical documentation, ensuring compliance with security standards. Overall, your contribution is crucial in enhancing the productivity and functionality of the organization through efficient IT support.


Responsibilities

  • Assist users by resolving hardware and software technical issues promptly.
  • Install and configure computer systems ensuring seamless user functionality.
  • Conduct regular system updates and maintenance to ensure efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team to improve IT support processes and strategies.
  • Maintain IT documentation for technical setups and troubleshooting steps.
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding for new staff by setting up IT equipment.
  • Monitor and manage user access permissions and data security protocols.
  • Provide clear and friendly technical guidance to non-technical staff members.
  • Participate actively in meetings to address IT infrastructure needs and demands.
  • Ensure compliance with company’s IT security policies and data protection regulations.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT professionals for resolution.
  • Stay updated on the latest changes in IT trends and solutions.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in IT technical support or related field.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
  • Strong knowledge of network systems, servers, and IT security protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective support.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a dynamic IT team collaboration.
  • Certifications like Cisco, CompTIA, or Microsoft credentials are advantageous.
