IT Systems Integration Engineer

PhantomLabs is primarily looking for a technically strong and security-focused IT professional who can support UAV development environments in a fast-paced aerospace setting. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems integration, cybersecurity, or software support, preferably within aerospace, defense, aviation, or other high-security industries. A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

The strongest selection criteria for this role include hands-on experience with secure IT infrastructure, networking, Linux/Windows server environments, VPNs, firewalls, backups, disaster recovery systems, and endpoint security. The company is heavily focused on “secure by design,” so candidates must demonstrate a strong cybersecurity mindset and the ability to protect systems, intellectual property, and operational data.

Another critical requirement is the ability to support engineering and development teams working on UAV systems, embedded software, simulations, and testing environments. Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), scripting languages such as Python, and system integration concepts will be highly valuable.
