We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team and provide comprehensive technical support to our organization. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, ensuring the smooth operation of our hardware and software systems, and assisting users with their IT needs. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users effectively and efficiently.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications for multiple departments.
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of local and wide area networks.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal functioning of IT infrastructure.
  • Provide technical support for software applications and hardware peripherals.
  • Document technical issues and resolutions in the ticketing system promptly.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve critical technical issues.
  • Educate and train end-users on software applications and IT policies.
  • Participate in IT projects and contribute to system upgrades and implementations.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures across all systems.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to improve service delivery and technical support.
  • Stay updated with the latest IT technologies and recommend new solutions to improve operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in an IT support role preferred.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Strong understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems is essential.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to assist non-technical users.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with IT service management tools and ticketing systems is advantageous.
