Responsibilities

  • Provide first line technical support to employees for IT-related queries and issues.
  • Diagnose hardware and software problems, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any network-related issues promptly.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for problem management and resolution procedures.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to resolve complex IT issues and manage service agreements.
  • Support IT infrastructure and ensure server and network availability and reliability.
  • Assist in conducting regular system audits and maintain security systems integrity.
  • Provide technical support for company events, including setup and teardown of equipment.
  • Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and execution.
  • Train new employees in the use of hardware and software applications.
  • Continuously update knowledge of current IT technologies and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT support or similar technical support role.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience with network diagnostics and network administration tasks.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms, including Windows and macOS.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively assist non-technical staff with technical issues.
