Job Description

The IT Support Engineer is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with a patient and helpful demeanor when dealing with users at all levels of an organization. This role requires a good understanding of computer networks, hardware, software, and cloud services, as well as excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical users. The IT Support Engineer will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring all IT systems run efficiently and without interruption. Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users in a timely manner.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for clients.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals effectively.
  • Manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights in environments.
  • Collaborate with other IT staff to implement innovative technology solutions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for support procedures and issues.
  • Assist in the analysis and evaluation of new IT hardware and software products.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure the continuous availability of services.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for repair, maintenance, and technical support.
  • Support the development and implementation of new IT projects and initiatives.
  • Conduct training sessions for users on new systems and software as needed.
  • Ensure security, safety, and integrity of network infrastructure and data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years experience in an IT support or similar technical role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer networks, hardware, operating systems, and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering user satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in remote support tools and technologies for troubleshooting issues.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for user training.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
