Job Description

As an IT Support specialist, you will be the reliable point of contact for resolving technical issues across various computer systems, software applications, and other technological infrastructures. Your role is crucial in ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency for end users while maintaining a courteous and professional manner.   • Conduct routine maintenance and updates to keep equipment in optimal condition.
  • Document IT support procedures and maintain detailed records of all requests.
  • Manage inventory of IT assets, ensuring availability and timely replacement.
  • Provide training and support to users for effective technology utilization.
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals for problem resolution and improvements.
  • Analyze and report on recurring technical issues to improve services.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and recommend enhancements as needed.
  • Support disaster recovery planning and data backup processes regularly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in IT support or related technical support roles.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networks, and operating systems.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills for technical issues.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with non-technical users.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize multiple support tasks.
  • Certification in CompTIA A+, Network+, or relevant IT certifications preferred.
