Responsibilities

  • Install and update software applications ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT equipment and systems.
  • Document IT support processes, solutions, and user instructions systematically.
  • Monitor and report on IT system performance and security status regularly.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new employees by setting up necessary accounts and systems.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers on IT-related procurement and support.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and track upcoming replacements or upgrades.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends and industry best practices.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives to support business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in an IT support or help desk role of at least 2 years.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networks, and systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach to support.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Proficiency in using modern helpdesk and IT service management tools.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar will be advantageous.
