Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our technical support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure and providing technical support to our staff and clients. This role involves diagnosing and resolving IT issues promptly and efficiently, maintaining hardware and software systems, and ensuring IT security protocols are adhered to. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of IT systems and networks, and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users. Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level support to users for hardware and software issues.
  • Install and configure computer systems and applications as needed.
  • Respond to, diagnose, and resolve service requests in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update accurate records of all resolved and unresolved issues.
  • Manage and maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
  • Assist with the setup and support of mobile devices and remote access.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and solutions.
  • Monitor system performance and manage backups for critical data integrity.
  • Provide technical support for network connectivity and device interoperability.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and security protocols is maintained.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for equipment repairs and software updates.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve IT support skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows, macOS, and common office software.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and enterprise systems management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to assist users effectively.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management frameworks is advantageous.
