Our client is a leading international organisation operating complex industrial facilities across multiple regions. The business is investing in a new Dubai site and requires an experienced IT leader to establish and manage local IT operations while partnering with global technology teams.
Job Description
- Own end-to-end IT service delivery for a large industrial site, ensuring reliable support for all business users.
- Act as the primary escalation point for major incidents, service issues, and business-critical IT challenges.
- Manage local IT budgets, contracts, assets, service providers, and operational expenditure.
- Drive compliance with corporate IT, cybersecurity, audit, and governance requirements.
- Represent site requirements within regional and global IT organisations, coordinating infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Minimum 10 years' IT experience, including significant responsibility for site IT operations and service delivery.
- Proven experience as an IT Site Manager, IT Operations Manager, Infrastructure Manager, or similar role supporting a manufacturing, industrial, engineering, chemical, energy, logistics, or production environment.
- Demonstrated ownership of local IT budgets, vendors, assets, governance activities, and operational reporting.
- Strong track record of managing stakeholder relationships across site leadership teams and corporate IT functions.
- Experience working within structured enterprise environments with defined ITIL processes, cybersecurity standards, audits, and compliance requirements.
