Job Description

The role of a Sales Representative in the IT sector is a dynamic and challenging position that requires a blend of technical knowledge and salesmanship. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales initiatives, managing client relationships, and identifying potential new customers. You are the face of the company’s products and services, meaning you need to maintain a sound understanding of what the company offers and how these products meet customer needs. Your main goal will be to increase sales revenue by custom-fitting IT solutions for clients, ensuring client satisfaction, and achieving sales targets.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.
  • Develop and manage strong relationships with new and existing clients in the IT field.
  • Conduct needs analysis and propose tailored IT solutions to prospective clients.
  • Prepare and deliver informative sales presentations and demonstrations.
  • Negotiate contract terms and close sales transactions with clients effectively.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to understand and fulfill customer requirements.
  • Stay knowledgeable about the latest trends and advancements in the IT industry.
  • Track and report sales results and client feedback to improve sales strategies.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events to expand industry contacts.
  • Maintain records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM software.
  • Provide clients with post-sales support and ensure any issues are resolved quickly.
  • Exceed assigned sales goals and contribute to achieving team revenue targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative, preferably within the IT industry.
  • Strong technical understanding of IT products and services is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills are critical for success.
  • Driving Licence with Car (Preferred)
