The IT Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing technology-based projects within an organization. This role is responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and aligns with the organization’s objectives. The individual will collaborate closely with project managers, technical teams, and stakeholders to track the progress of IT projects, identify potential risks, and facilitate communication across departments. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The IT Project Coordinator will also be expected to maintain project documentation, prepare reports, and contribute to process improvements. The ideal candidate should have a passion for technology and a strong commitment to enhancing operational efficiencies through effective project coordination.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities to ensure smooth execution and timely completion.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans to track progress and performance.
  • Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates.
  • Facilitate effective resource allocation based on project requirements and priorities.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Identify and manage project risks, escalating issues when necessary for resolution.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project deliverables meet required standards.
  • Support project management teams by maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
  • Schedule and participate in project meetings, preparing agendas and minutes.
  • Utilize project management tools to track project status and performance metrics.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for project stakeholders.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or IT-related role.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using project management software and collaboration tools.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder interactions.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
