Job Description

The IT Project Coordinator is a vital member of the project management team, responsible for organizing, implementing, and monitoring IT projects from conception to completion. This role demands a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to flourish in a fast-paced environment. IT Project Coordinators work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and IT teams to ensure that project goals are met efficiently and within scheduled timelines and budget constraints. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track project progress with IT teams and stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing detailed project plans, including milestones.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and schedules.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and overall performance indicators.
  • Facilitate communication across project teams and manage stakeholder priorities.
  • Organize and conduct project meetings, capturing key action items.
  • Provide administrative support and manage project-related queries.
  • Analyze project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation for project tasks.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of project progress reports.
  • Support project managers in assessing project deliverable quality standards.
  • Promote adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field required.
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating IT projects in agile environments.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira) is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills are mandatory.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure and system integration processes preferred.
