Job Description

The IT Program Manager – Business Applications plays a crucial role in leading and managing multiple projects and programs related to business applications within an organization. This position is focused on aligning IT initiatives with business goals and ensuring seamless integration and operation of business applications to enhance productivity and efficiency. The IT Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the project management team, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively. The IT Program Manager should have extensive experience in managing large-scale IT programs and possess a deep understanding of business application software, project management methodologies, and change management practices.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of projects related to business applications.
  • Develop and manage program budgets and forecasts for business applications.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure program objectives are met.
  • Identify project risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Ensure alignment of IT programs with business objectives and strategies.
  • Manage the lifecycle of business applications from design to implementation.
  • Conduct regular program reviews and provide updates to senior management.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders and project teams.
  • Develop and implement best practices and standards for program management.
  • Oversee the selection and management of third-party vendors and partners.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards in all programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT program performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience managing IT programs and projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience with business application software and IT infrastructure.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in complex scenarios.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
