Job Description

An IT Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing an organization's technology infrastructure, ensuring its alignment with business goals. They are responsible for managing IT staff, developing and implementing IT policies, and strategizing the overall approach to technology utilization within the company. Responsibilities

  • Ensure data security, network access, and backup systems are efficiently managed.
  • Coordinate IT projects including the design and deployment of new IT systems.
  • Review and approve new hardware and software acquisitions and installations.
  • Analyze the organization’s IT infrastructure and systems for efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with IT laws and regulations governing data and technology use.
  • Conduct regular audits of systems and technology processes for optimization.
  • Lead the IT team in troubleshooting complex technical issues and systems outages.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and cloud technology.
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills are essential for the role.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, project management, and personnel management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with excellent organization.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
