Job Description

The IT Manager position, identified as 14N25, is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing the information technology (IT) infrastructure of an organization. As an IT Manager, you will manage the team responsible for the maintenance and development of the company's network, systems, and applications that are vital for operational efficiency and business continuity. Your role requires a deep understanding of network architecture, system security, and emerging technology trends. You will be required to ensure that technology resources align with the company's goals and provide strategic oversight of the IT department. Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the IT department's daily operations and overall efficiency.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices company-wide.
  • Coordinate with senior management to align technology strategies with business needs.
  • Ensure the security of IT systems, protecting against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
  • Manage IT budgets, forecasting needs and optimizing expenditures for fiscal health.
  • Lead project management initiatives impacting IT infrastructure and software development.
  • Analyze business requirements to recommend technical upgrades and solutions.
  • Hire, mentor, and develop IT staff, setting performance goals and conducting reviews.
  • Stay updated on the latest technology trends to propose innovative improvements.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring service level agreements meet organizational needs.
  • Resolve complex technical issues through effective problem-solving and team collaboration.
  • Maintain critical systems uptime, implementing redundancy solutions where feasible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT leadership or management roles.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of network security protocols and system administration.
  • Proven ability to manage IT projects from conception to launch and maintenance.
  • Experience with budget management and financial planning within the IT domain.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to interact with all organizational levels.
  • Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or relevant IT certifications are highly desirable.
