Job Description

An IT Field Support Operations Manager is a crucial leadership role responsible for overseeing the deployment, maintenance, and support of IT systems and services in field operations. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement field IT support strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless IT service delivery in the field.
  • Manage a team of IT field support technicians to provide timely and effective solutions.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices for field operations.
  • Monitor and analyze field IT operations to identify and resolve technical issues swiftly.
  • Ensure compliance with company's IT security and privacy protocols in all field activities.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for field IT operations and monitor expenditures.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for field staff on new technologies and IT tools.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers to optimize IT products and services.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on field IT support activities and improvement plans.
  • Evaluate new technology and tools to enhance field operational capabilities.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and integrate them into IT operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a distributed team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Proficient in IT management software and other relevant technological tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders.
  • Experience in budgeting and resource allocation for IT operations.
