2. About the Opportunity:
The IT Compliance Analyst will support the IT department by ensuring adherence to regulatory standards through internal and external audits. This role is crucial for maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and data protection requirements, directly contributing to the organization’s ability to safeguard patient information and meet industry standards.
3. Responsibilities:
• Maintain and provide compliance evidence for audits
• Conduct regular audits of IT systems, procedures, and user accounts
• Identify and resolve compliance issues
• Monitor regulatory changes and recommend updates
• Deliver compliance reports to management
• Analyze data protection measures for HIPAA, HITRUST, and PCI-DSS compliance
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure understanding and adherence to compliance rules
• Perform additional assigned tasks
• Follow standards set by the organization’s Code of Business Conduct, policies, and relevant laws
4. Requirements:
• Associate degree with at least 1 year of related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an IT Compliance Analyst or similar role
• Strong knowledge of IT compliance laws and regulations
• Experience with IT audits and risk assessments
• Familiarity with IT compliance frameworks and standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in audits
• Ability to work independently and in a team under deadlines
• Knowledge of IT security best practices
• Experience with compliance management tools (e.g., Qualys, Tenable)
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification preferred
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Starting salary at $60,000 and up
