ISM Functional User Manager

About This Role

The ISM Functional User Manager manages a team that develops functional and business work products to support new projects and existing applications for the organization. This position is responsible for initiating and providing strategic direction for business analysis within specified areas.

He/She determines feasible options and recommends solutions to grow the business. The ISM Functional User Manager establishes and improves the organization’s business analysis processes and effectiveness by providing solutions which meet business needs. This position manages the impact and integration of brokerage solutions for business processes and systems. He/She collaborates with internal and external stakeholders (governmental and cross brokerage trade industry) and senior management to establish and implement processes that enhance efficiency and improve work products for the enterprise. The ISM Functional User Manager maintains a high level of proficiency in a broad range of business analysis knowledge and techniques. He/She influences and directs the management of projects to ensure optimal performance and business objectives are achieved. This position remains current on industry best practices, standards, trends, tools, methodology, emerging technologies, and techniques.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10 years IT Project management experience
• Knowledge of shipping automation principles
• Must have experience in Brokerage Eco-System configuration and deployment
• Must have experience in CX & visibility tools from a courier perspective such as Flex Global View and International Knowledge Base
• Must be based in UAE
• Must be able to communicate in English and Hindi
• Must be able to support multiple regions with different time zones
• Must be able to support local country brokerage tools and applications
• Must be willing to travel
• Excellent Country Customs knowledge of India Middle East and Africa Countries
• 5 years’ experience working with Indian government on courier and cargo compliance projects
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be well versed with database knowledge (MS Access)
• Well versed in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent Presentation capabilities and experience in presenting to all levels of senior leadership
• Analytical capabilities and results oriented
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or Masters degree.
• Experience specific to IT project management
• 5 years AGILE and SCRUM experience
