The Investigation Support position is responsible for providing support to the Fraud and Forgery Investigators primarily related to processing incoming emails, inquiries, and cases and distributing them to the correct recipients.
Key Responsibilities
Review incoming Risk Management Incident reports in regard to investigations to decide as to which area of investigations to forward the incident to
Monitor the Investigation inbox and distribute emails to the appropriate area within Investigations
Log all cases/inquiries accordingly
Create a case in the case management system
Create a case file place holder in shared Outlook folder
Competencies Required
Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey a positive attitude and maintain high levels of confidentiality, professionalism and patience while interacting with customers and internal team members.
Working knowledge of banking operations and risk management including relevant regulations.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines in a fast paced, high volume environment.
Strong data entry skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint) and ability to navigate financial software applications (Mozart, Bancline) and learn new software quickly.
Ability to follow directions and apply proper policies, procedures and guidelines.
Customer service orientation with effective analytical and problem solving skills.
Self-starter possessing the ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and high concern for data accuracy.
