🧾 Position Summary

• Title: Investigations Specialist
• Location: Remote (Dubai, UAE)
• Type: Full-Time
• Focus: Blockchain forensics, financial crime, law enforcement collaboration
  
  

• Analyze on-chain and off-chain transaction data, including customer activity
• Investigate cybercrime and malicious behavior involving blockchain assets
• Conduct open-source intelligence (OSINT) and entity mapping
• Document and communicate findings effectively for internal teams and authorities
• Collaborate with departments and escalate actionable intelligence
• Support Binance’s anti-fraud, AML, and enforcement initiatives
• Provide feedback to strengthen Binance's security frameworks and risk systems
  
  

• 3+ years of law enforcement experience, ideally cybercrime-focused
• 3+ years of financial or cyber investigations
• Deep understanding of DeFi systems and different blockchains/networks
• Proven experience with crypto forensics or tracing illicit funds
• Strong analytical and OSINT skills
• Excellent English communication and report-writing skills
• Proficiency in Hindi is a plus (due to liaising with Indian law enforcement and AML/CTF bodies)
  
  

• Hands-on experience with tools like:
• Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM Labs, or similar
• Blockchain explorers and advanced query tools
• Familiarity with case-building and digital evidence documentation
• Previous cooperation with global law enforcement (Interpol, Europol, FBI, etc.)
• Certifications (beneficial but not required):
• CAMS, CFCS, CFE, or Certified Cryptocurrency Investigator
  
  

• Help mitigate fraud and illicit finance across the exchange
• Proactively identify criminal networks abusing DeFi and blockchain tools
• Work cross-border with enforcement to support prosecutions
