Inventory Controller

Job Description

• Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, consumables, chemicals, powders.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely identification of shortages, excess, slow-moving, and obsolete items.
• Maintain safety stock of all high movement parts and monitor on daily basis.
• Conduct monthly and periodic stock takes, cycle counts, and reconciliation of variances.
• Ensure proper implementation of FIFO/FEFO and bin location controls.
• Verify and control material movements including inward, issue, transfer, and dispatch.
• Ensure all inventory transactions are correctly posted in the ERP/system (SAP/Oracle/etc.).
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Stores, Production, Planning, Purchase, and Quality teams.
• Support internal and external audits related to inventory.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and space utilization.
• Ensure compliance with safety, 5S, and company procedures.

• Strong knowledge of inventory control & ISO documentation processes
• ERP/SAP proficiency
• Analytical and reconciliation skills
• Understanding of manufacturing store operations
