Responsibilities

  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and report findings to management promptly.
  • Develop efficient inventory management procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with different departments to streamline the inventory control process.
  • Ensure proper labeling and storage of all inbound and outbound products.
  • Generate regular inventory reports and present findings to senior management.
  • Utilize inventory management software systems to track and manage inventory data.
  • Identify and resolve potential inventory issues before they impact supply chain continuity.
  • Analyze data to forecast future inventory needs and adjust stock levels accordingly.
  • Train and mentor junior staff on inventory control best practices and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in inventory storage areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of at least 3 years as an Inventory Control Specialist.
  • Proficient in using inventory management and ERP software applications.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with various departmental teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of inventory auditing procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage stress effectively.
