Position Summary

The International Sales Manager is responsible for building Antunes’ market position by developing and closing new business with targeted Foodservice Accounts across the Middle East and Africa (MEA). Working from a defined target list and leads generated from various sources, this role will identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within targeted market segments. The International Sales Manager serves as the regional point of contact for Key Accounts and channel partners and is responsible for strengthening existing relationships while developing new opportunities with prospective customers throughout the region.

Essential Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) to meet and exceed revenue targets, using data-driven forecasting and performance tracking.
  • Proactively engage with Foodservice Consultants and Kitchen Designers to ensure Antunes equipment is specified during the design phase of new regional projects and major facility rollouts.
  • Strengthen, develop, and coach existing distributor partners across the Middle East and Africa while directly managing relationships with regional and global QSR chains.
  • Drive growth across Antunes’ core product portfolio, including advanced Water Softening and Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems.
  • Proactively identify market trends, competitive pressures, and potential headwinds, and develop effective mitigation strategies to maintain a healthy and growing sales pipeline.
  • Partner with Technical Support, New Product Development (NPD), and global leadership to ensure regional customer and market needs are reflected in the company's innovation roadmap.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide timely, consistent written updates on customer acquisition, account expansion, pipeline activity, and administrative requirements, including expense reporting.
  • Travel throughout the MEA region to develop customer relationships, support distributor partners, and identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of relevant B2B sales experience, preferably within the Foodservice Equipment, Commercial Kitchen Equipment, or Commercial Kitchen Technology industry.
  • Demonstrated experience managing sales across the Middle East and Africa, with a strong understanding of regional market dynamics, business practices, and cultural nuances.
  • Knowledge of commercial kitchen operations and familiarity with water filtration technologies, including Reverse Osmosis (RO) and water softening systems.
  • Proven ability to develop and strengthen distributor relationships and manage complex customer accounts.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cultures and with global stakeholders.
  • Strong sales forecasting, pipeline management, and business planning capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% across the Middle East and Africa.
