Job Description

The role of an Internal Sales Manager is pivotal to the growth and success of a business. This position involves the management of the internal sales team to ensure that sales targets are met and that the team functions efficiently. The Internal Sales Manager is responsible for developing strategies to optimize sales processes and training team members to deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Lead, coach, and manage the internal sales team for optimal performance.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and develop corrective strategies.
  • Coordinate with marketing to align sales campaigns and promotional efforts.
  • Monitor and report on team performance metrics and KPIs on a weekly basis.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and product knowledge.
  • Facilitate meetings and communications between sales team and other departments.
  • Ensure compliance with sales processes and company policies by team members.
  • Manage client accounts and maintain positive customer relationships for retention.
  • Address client issues and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Work closely with the finance department to manage credit control and invoicing.
  • Plan and manage sales budgets, forecasting, and resources effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required.
  • Proven track record of managing a successful sales team in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and team.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite for daily operations.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure effectively.
